Notes on sizing - Children grow at different rates, so age is only a guide. Use the finished chest measurements below to select your size, allowing at least 5 cm of positive ease through the chest for comfort and growth. Adjust body and sleeve lengths as needed. Designed to be worn with the cuffs folded; unfolding adds 3.5 cm to the sleeve length for extra growth.

Tension; 28 stitches & 36 rows over 10cm [4”] in stocking stitch on 3.25mm [US3] needles.
Needles & other requirements;
3.25mm [US3] needles (used throughout jacket), straight, or circular with 50/80cm [20”/32”] cord.
Recommend using circular needles for the width of the garment, particularly larger sizes & for working the hat in the round.
2.75mm [US2] needles (hat band only), circular or double-pointed needles (DPNs) for a hat worked in the round.
6 stitch holders, stitch markers, removable stitch markers (to keep track of rows/ridges), 1–3 x 15/20 mm button/toggle.
