Description
Yarn Used: Amano Yarns Duna 4ply
The Grieta Socks are worked toe-up using an afterthought heel technique. After shaping the toe, the sock is worked as a tube with a row of waste yarn inserted to mark where the heel will go. Once the sock is complete, the waste yarn is removed and the heel stitches are picked up and shaped in decreasing rounds.
Leg length is fully adjustable by modifying the number of main color rounds worked between or after the floral motif sections. The cuff should be bound off loosely or using a stretchy bind-off technique to ensure it fits comfortably over the foot. Instructions are written for double-pointed needles (dpns) but can be adapted to two circulars or magic loop.
