Description
Yarn Used: Amano Yarns Duna 4ply
The Gema Shawl is worked in Amano Duna 4ply, a soft and eco-friendly blend of 60% organic cotton and 40% alpaca. The subtle variation in fiber absorption creates beautiful high and low shades within each hank, giving your shawl natural depth and texture. The shawl features a long narrow border worked separately, then picked up for the body, with decreases creating a graceful half-circle shape.

Construction Notes:
Work the long narrow border on straight or short circular needles, then switch to a long circular to pick up stitches for the body. You may switch to shorter needles as the stitch count decreases. Border stitches in parentheses (k1, p1, k1) are worked into a single stitch from the previous row’s yarn over, creating a double increase. To keep track of the right side when working the garter body, place an optional locking marker on the right side of the shawl.
Please Note: Pattern only. Yarn and needles sold separately.
