Description
Create a stylish knit-look hat using a clever corner-to-corner (C2C) crochet construction.
The hat body is worked in rows, beginning at one corner and increasing to create a right triangle. The work is then continued evenly to form the length needed for the desired head circumference before decreasing to complete the final corner. The rectangle is joined to create the hat body, followed by a cosy knit-look ribbed band worked in short rows around the bottom. Finally, the top is gathered to complete the hat.
The pattern is easy to customise to your desired height and circumference, making it a versatile project for different head sizes. The sample slouch hat was made 2" taller than the standard ladies' hat height.
