This gorgeous textured blanket was designed in honour of, and gifted to, the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, due to arrive in spring 2015.
This gorgeous textured blanket features a beautiful stitch pattern that looks the same on both sides, making it completely reversible.
The pattern is wonderfully easy, using just a simple one-row repeat to create a lovely textured finish. It is made to measure, so you can create the blanket to any size you wish and work to your own gauge.
The sample blanket was made using lace-weight organic New Zealand merino, with a second swatch shown worked in fingering-weight yarn.

- Lace weight yarn: approximately 5000 yards
- Fingering weight yarn: approximately 2100 yards
- Hook: 3.75mm (US F)
